A Weekend in Juneau
Arriving on Friday, start the weekend with an eclectic meal at Wild Spice. Wild Spice offers seafood entrees, soups, salads and sandwiches—along with an extensive wine list. They also offer Mongolian-style barbecue, a personal favorite.

Juneau, Alaska has much to offer even the most timid of outdoorsman. A weekend in Juneau is barely enough time to explore all the city has to offer but start Saturday with one of the must see activities--checking out the glaciers. Although there are several glaciers to choose from Mendenhall Glacier is Juneau’s most popular glacial attraction.

Pack a lunch, arrive early and hike up the western edge of the glacier—after approximately 3 hours you will be overlooking the glacier—and have a wonderful view while you enjoy your lunch!
